Artist's description:
"Another Dawn" is the result of a collaboration between Sector-Seven and the amazing singer songwriter, Kelly Rose.

It started up as a 70bpm easy-listening track, but as I could not resist the higher tempos and arpeggios, it ended up as a 140bpm dance track... :)

Hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it.

New version uploaded - pulled back on the background vocals by just a bit, and pulled back some of the kick and bass volume (-0.5db)

I had a problem with the background channels - they were louder than I intended in the mix. Uploading a new version in a few minutes, hopefully will sound more pleasant to your ears.

As a dance track, this is excellent. But the singer, ossacionally she's too back, then front?? then rewerbed.. maybe you try too much for that, just pure singer with little rewerb in front all along??

ashy - I agree with your observation - the secondary vocal channel is indeed louder than I wanted. Probably messed it up a bit in the final cut. Will probably upload a fixed version later.

So your intentional volume envelope is adorable ;) I mostly meant the parts that the vocal gets double though. Anyway, this is definitely one of your best tracks. I wish I had enough skill to make a collaborative track with you :)

Thanks ashy - I was hoping to see your comment here :) The vocal volume envelope is indeed intentional. Perhaps a matter of taste? Wanted to give the music some time to shine - otherwise, I would have ended with a pop song.... and we all hate to see that happening... :) oh well... (Why is that reply textarea so frikkin small??)

Very enjoyable indeed. Musically blessed. Very nice arrangement with a delicate wide stereo field, and a good mastering as always. Full of nice and non-alike variations. Only it seems that vocals need more compression, the volume fluctuates, gets dominant in some parts and gets faint in some other, or maybe this have been intentional? Keep up the good work s7, you really rock :)

Thanks a lot zaphpoid and TanTo (need multiple reply here...:) ) - not familiar with Elwood - but I found some of the old MOD collection I had - did you know Jogeir or Leviathan?

I'm fast becoming a Fan. Excellent work! Are you aware of the works of the Mod artist "Elwood" ? I believe you would find much inspiration there.

Never made one, just experimented with it - and immediately had the need to add dance-style instruments. But I may still create a 70bpm version of it - need to clear my head a little from this - was very time consuming this track. :)

could you put up the 70 bpm version?
