Year: 2008

Artist's description:
My latest creation. A darkly inspired punchy track, that will get into all of your least expected openings - and feast on your vulnerabilty.

Inspiration:
I produced the track over the last few days.. having been suffering another rather painful case of what's known as reflux or heartburn. It can feel like your insides are being torn apart from the inside out. This song is my survivor story, and my revenge oath.

I wish the bassdrum had a bit more punchy low-end. Other than I have very little to complain, other than that this thing screams for a distorted rhodes solo.

Sounds like a hybrid between in mood your track "Superstar in a Wrecking Yard" and Din's usually style. A bit too minimalistic (too few instruments at loud volumes rather than more instruments each at softer volumes building on each other) for my taste...but there is nothing unclear here in an objective sense. Sounds very solid and polished (as usual from you), but somehow it sounds less enthusiastic then I'd hope for. Still, a solid track; 3 for mood/enthusiasm 4 for skill in production in my book; 3.5 overall (not given a star rating).

Delectable, but like I said, it may just be a little too loud. As for the rest, outsourcing is usually bad for the local economy. I'm liking these industrialized house tunes. I may have to give one a try.

That rare sound you hear, not quite so delectable, or detectable? What's wrong with using a selection of widely outsourced instruments for a popular genre?

This is a bit of a trick to wrap my head around, but I'm pretty sure I dig it. Although there's one rare sound effect in there, popping up every few bars, and it's not quite so delectable. I think it's just a smidge too loud. Rocking tune. My heartburn bleeds for you.
