I gotta agree with slammy. The production doesn't quite cut it, and being the purist that I am, the flaws in the vocals and mixdown really hurt the enjoyability of this piece. However, melodically it's top-notch. A solid 4 stars.

I think your singing was great - you were hitting notes that were not doubled anywhere in the instruments - that is always had to do and I think you hit them pretty good myself. A studio is in theory always a good idea - with a good engineer.

Cheers for all the feedback!! I agree there is definately room for improvement production-wise, but we really didnt spend too long on it. The vocals were laid down ontop of the MP3 I hosted, and recrompressed to another MP3. If we can both be bothered maybe we'll do another version, but I dont think we're in any hurry!

it really *isn't* a big deal at all - I was just making a general comment.

It sounds rough around the edges, vocals are great, but not pure enough, kinda wobbles abit around the note here and there, very minor, but noticable, and the recording has some hiss about it, especially around the vocals. In a nutshell, it would benefit alot from being recorded professionally, like about 99f the awesome music around here.

stunning. absolutely fantastic. You guys gotta get together somehow get this recorded professionally... cause it frikken damn well owns. :p. While it sounds great right now, it would benefit so much from being cleaned up. Other than that. Wow

Two of my most favorite artists on TiS collaborate? awesome! The music could be a sound track for walking through a burned, bombed and shot up city - desolation without hope - wordless horror, lonely desperation. The arrangement is brilliant and the production crystal clear the music totally emotional.
