Better for what? CDs and MP3s are better for portable music players; LPs skip and scratch too easily, and none of my pockets are big enough for a turntable so I'd have to carry it around in my hands :/

MP3 so long as 192kb/s+ my hearing (with -h high quality setting under LAME) my ears can't tell the difference between that and LPs.

Also nowadays, thanks to technology, CD/mp3 players that can scratch and otherwise work like LPs also exist.

>"With the right kind of noise-reduction, clean vinyl, and clean needle LPs can sound better than CD audio." You might be right...I notice LPs do have a distinctively warmer sound but, even with my not-so-cheap needle and clean vinyl...I can't seem to ever get a 100% fuzz-less sound (more like 98% fuzz-less).

You can't tell the difference between a 192kbps MP3 and an LP? With the right kind of noise-reduction, clean vinyl, and clean needle LPs can sound better than CD audio.

scratching with cd is not the same as with vinyl, not the same sound and not the same feeling.

Depending of the equipment you have to listen music. Some people have very high tech and expensive equipement and they prefer Lp because they can ear each little details of the original recording that might just gone with digital compression.but on that I'm not myself a good exemple because I use Mp3 all the time :o))
